In psychosocial counseling, I focus on supporting individuals in challenging life situations, enabling them to lead independent lives in their familiar environments. Psychosocial counseling plays a crucial role in care by integrating individual needs and social aspects into the care process. It promotes psychological well-being and aids in overcoming challenges through empathy and active support.
This approach allows caregivers to address not only the physical but also the psychological and social needs of clients. By fostering self-reflection, providing crisis support, and developing coping strategies, I strive to build a trusting relationship.
A good interdisciplinary exchange between myself as a caregiver, the client, and other involved professionals is important to me to ensure client-centered care and achieve optimal treatment outcomes. Since every person and problem is unique, it is of great importance to me to work together with the client to find the best possible individual solutions and care.
My name is Sebastian Eberl. Originally from Austria, I have been living in Switzerland since 2011, where I began my career as a nurse. I started in somatic care, but I have always had a strong interest in human psychology. During my first six years in Switzerland, I worked at the Triemli City Hospital in Zurich. After this period, I transitioned to psychiatric nursing. Over the following years, I gained valuable experience in various renowned institutions and diverse areas of psychiatric care. During this time, I developed a desire to work independently in the outpatient psychiatric field, aiming to achieve the best possible outcomes with my experience in both somatic and psychiatric care and a holistic understanding of the individual.
Working with people is very close to my heart. A particularly formative experience was a voluntary stay abroad in Greece before my studies, where I cared for individuals with physical and mental disabilities. This experience sparked my interest in nursing and sharpened my understanding of the importance of empathy and support.
The Outpatient Clinic Rüschlikon is a psychiatric practice located directly on Lake Zurich, dedicated to providing comprehensive psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care. Here, I work closely with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatric nurses, therapists, and psychiatrists. This close collaboration allows us to address the individual needs of our patients and ensure comprehensive care.
By combining expertise from various fields, we are able to competently treat mental illnesses and, when necessary, bring in additional specialists. Whether it involves specific therapeutic approaches, medication treatments, or intensive support, the Outpatient Clinic Rüschlikon ensures that each patient receives the care best suited to their needs.
My services are billed through the mandatory health insurance and with the client's home municipality. The deductible is 7,65 francs per session.
